據(jù)美嘉導師介紹，肯塔基州是美國中東部的一個州，正式名稱為“肯塔基聯(lián)盟”。其面積104749平方公里，在全美國排名37，而人口在2005年則是4041769，在美國排名第26位。

肯塔基州在美國革命時屬弗吉尼亞州一部分，至1792年脫離弗吉尼亞州，成為美國的第十五個州?？纤菀约兎N馬和威士忌聞名。

其中，肯塔基大學在全美公立大學中排名第26位。藥劑學院、馬丁政策和行政管理學院、醫(yī)護學院、法學院和醫(yī)學院的研究生教育均在全美名列前茅。其中，藥劑學院全美排名第3，馬丁學院在公共財政和預算類中排名第2，法學院位25大公共機構之內(nèi)，醫(yī)護學院排名第29。

美嘉導師表示，路易斯維爾大學是一所位于美國肯塔基州路易斯維爾市的研究型州立大學。該大學建立于1798年，當時是美國座市立的公共大學，也是批建立在美國阿勒格尼山脈西邊的大學之一。

路易維爾大學的商學院列入靠前的百分之七的商業(yè)學院當中。該學院提供傳統(tǒng)會計和商業(yè)管理的碩士項目，也提供一項把焦點放在創(chuàng)業(yè)的獨特博士課程。

美國創(chuàng)業(yè)與小企業(yè)協(xié)會將該博士學位命名為2010年中小企業(yè)創(chuàng)業(yè)博士學位教育的典范。2003年，該學院名列創(chuàng)業(yè)雜志(Entrepreneur Magazine)“高級創(chuàng)業(yè)大學”當中，評定成為排名第13所。
