曾主演《死亡詩社》《勇敢者游戲》 《心靈捕手》等電影，拿過奧斯卡佳男配和金球獎(jiǎng)終身成就獎(jiǎng)的著名喜劇明星羅賓·威廉姆斯于2014年8月11日被人發(fā)現(xiàn)死于加州Tiburon的家中，終年63歲。據(jù)《赫芬頓郵報(bào)》報(bào)道，警方認(rèn)為威廉姆斯是自殺身亡。

警方報(bào)告中寫道：8月11日上午11:55左右，警局接到911報(bào)警電話，稱一位白人男子在加州Tiburon的家中人事不省、呼吸全無。

12:00，警局、消防隊(duì)和急救人員趕到現(xiàn)場(chǎng)。12:02，男子被宣布死亡。

該男子的身份被確認(rèn)為63歲的電影明星，Robin McLaurin Williams。

目前，警方檢驗(yàn)人員懷疑威廉姆斯是自殺身亡，死因是窒息。但還需要更全面的調(diào)查來確定。

威廉姆斯的妻子Susan Schneider也發(fā)表聲明：

"This morning, I lost my husband and my best friend, while the world lost one of its most beloved artists and beautiful human beings. I am utterly heartbroken. On behalf of Robin's family, we are asking for privacy during our time of profound grief. As he is remembered, it is our hope the focus will not be on Robin's death, but on the countless moments of joy and laughter he gave to millions."
