歷史

1969年，杜克大學工商管理學院成立。1970年，學院招收了批共20名學生。1974年，1953年杜克大學畢業(yè)生托馬斯·F·凱勒（Thomas F. Keller）被任命為院長。在之后的三年里，凱勒共為學院募集到資金2400萬美元，其中1000萬美元來自于商人、慈善家J.B.Fuqua爵士，也因此學校將商學院的名稱以Fuqua爵士命名，稱為富卡商學院（The Fuqua School of Business）。

J.B.Fuqua爵士是由起他的祖父母在弗吉尼亞州（Virginia）的愛德華王子縣（Prince Edward County）養(yǎng)育長大。Fuqua爵士一直從杜克大學圖書館內(nèi)借閱圖書，也因此與杜克大學建立關系。到2006年4月5日Fuqua爵士去世，他一共向杜克大學捐贈了近4000萬美元。

2008年9月，富卡商學院啟動了新一輪的校區(qū)擴張。目前富卡商學院已在如下城市擁有校區(qū)：俄羅斯圣彼得堡；阿聯(lián)酋迪拜；中國上海、昆山；印度新德里和英國倫敦。

2014年，富卡商學院開設了管理學碩士：昆山杜克大學項目（Master of Management Studies: DKU），這一項目將使學生分別體驗在富卡商學院主校區(qū)北卡羅來納州達勒姆市和新校區(qū)中國昆山市的學習。畢業(yè)學生將獲得杜克大學富卡商學院頒發(fā)的學位證書。
