新一輪的Common App申請系統(tǒng)已經全面開放，這意味著2022申請季來了！
Common App是美國本科申請三大網申系統(tǒng)之一，也是目前美國大學申請使用人數最多的系統(tǒng)之一，每年超過100萬學生通過該系統(tǒng)在線申請大學。網站鏈接：https://www.commonapp.org/apply

下面陳老師帶同學們來看一看新申請季Common App五大新變化！

1.64所學校新加入系統(tǒng)

今年，共有64所高校新加入Common  App系統(tǒng)。
其他Common App 新成員學校包括：

詹姆斯麥迪遜大學，弗吉尼亞州雪蘭多谷的一所公立大學；

普瑞特藝術學院，位于布魯克林區(qū)；

波特蘭州立大學，位于俄勒岡州的4年制公立學校；

阿拉巴馬大學，阿拉巴馬州歷史最悠久、規(guī)模最大的公立大學……

Common App新學校的完整列表，已經在2021年8月1日，Common App開放時發(fā)布。

2.COVID-19相關選填題部分持續(xù)保留
主文書第4題有改動，變成“Reflect on something that someone has done for you that has made you happy or thankful in a surprising way. How has this gratitude affected or motivated you?”
其他6道題目沒有變化，并且“額外信息”部分仍然保留COVID-19的備選問題“分享疫情對你個人和學術的影響”。

①、Some students have a background, identity, interest, or talent that is so meaningful they believe their application would be incomplete without it. If this sounds like you, then please share your story.



②、The lessons we take from obstacles we encounter can be fundamental to later success. Recount a time when you faced a challenge, setback, or failure. How did it affect you, and what did you learn from the experience?



③、Reflect on a time when you questioned or challenged a belief or idea. What prompted your thinking? What was the outcome?



⑤、Discuss an accomplishment, event, or realization that sparked a period of personal growth and a new understanding of yourself or others.



⑥、Describe a topic, idea, or concept you find so engaging that it makes you lose all track of time. Why does it captivate you? What or who do you turn to when you want to learn more?



⑦、Share an essay on any topic of your choice. It can be one you've already written, one that responds to a different prompt, or one of your own design.

3.修改性別選項以更好地代表申請人
性別描述部分，用詞從 “sex” 改成 “l(fā)egal sex”。

4.更改公民身份問題以減少訪問障礙
比如：公民身份的選項中，“Other (non-US)” 替換成 International students 和 Undocumented/DACA students 兩個選項。

刪除父母和兄弟姐妹相關問題，父母的職業(yè)、學歷、就業(yè)情況相關問題設置為Optional。

5.新增了個人陳述提示

Common App填寫指南
1.以學生身份注冊

2.填寫信息
注冊賬戶填寫基本的信息，如姓名、出生日期、地址、電話、郵箱等等。
郵箱就是用戶名，Common App也會不定期的給你發(fā)一些提醒和更新。

注冊郵箱、密碼，需要注意的是：

1. 不使用奇怪的郵箱名稱/地址，美高學生建議Gmail，國內學生建議163郵箱


2. CA對密碼有比較嚴格的要求，密碼不符合要求無法進行到下一步，詳細要求如下：


10-32位長度
至少一個大寫字母
至少一個小寫字母
至少一個數字
至少一個特殊符號! @ # $ % ^ & *
無空格鍵

3.添加大學名單
通過名字搜索大學，點擊左邊【+】號就能添加大學。
