新一輪的Common App申請(qǐng)系統(tǒng)已經(jīng)全面開(kāi)放，這意味著2022申請(qǐng)季來(lái)了！
Common App是美國(guó)本科申請(qǐng)三大網(wǎng)申系統(tǒng)之一，也是目前美國(guó)大學(xué)申請(qǐng)使用人數(shù)最多的系統(tǒng)之一，每年超過(guò)100萬(wàn)學(xué)生通過(guò)該系統(tǒng)在線(xiàn)申請(qǐng)大學(xué)。網(wǎng)站鏈接：https://www.commonapp.org/apply

下面陳老師帶同學(xué)們來(lái)看一看新申請(qǐng)季Common App五大新變化！

1.64所學(xué)校新加入系統(tǒng)

今年，共有64所高校新加入Common  App系統(tǒng)。
其他Common App 新成員學(xué)校包括：

詹姆斯麥迪遜大學(xué)，弗吉尼亞州雪蘭多谷的一所公立大學(xué)；

普瑞特藝術(shù)學(xué)院，位于布魯克林區(qū)；

波特蘭州立大學(xué)，位于俄勒岡州的4年制公立學(xué)校；

阿拉巴馬大學(xué)，阿拉巴馬州歷史最悠久、規(guī)模最大的公立大學(xué)……

Common App新學(xué)校的完整列表，已經(jīng)在2021年8月1日，Common App開(kāi)放時(shí)發(fā)布。

2.COVID-19相關(guān)選填題部分持續(xù)保留
主文書(shū)第4題有改動(dòng)，變成“Reflect on something that someone has done for you that has made you happy or thankful in a surprising way. How has this gratitude affected or motivated you?”
其他6道題目沒(méi)有變化，并且“額外信息”部分仍然保留COVID-19的備選問(wèn)題“分享疫情對(duì)你個(gè)人和學(xué)術(shù)的影響”。

①、Some students have a background, identity, interest, or talent that is so meaningful they believe their application would be incomplete without it. If this sounds like you, then please share your story.



②、The lessons we take from obstacles we encounter can be fundamental to later success. Recount a time when you faced a challenge, setback, or failure. How did it affect you, and what did you learn from the experience?



③、Reflect on a time when you questioned or challenged a belief or idea. What prompted your thinking? What was the outcome?



⑤、Discuss an accomplishment, event, or realization that sparked a period of personal growth and a new understanding of yourself or others.



⑥、Describe a topic, idea, or concept you find so engaging that it makes you lose all track of time. Why does it captivate you? What or who do you turn to when you want to learn more?



⑦、Share an essay on any topic of your choice. It can be one you've already written, one that responds to a different prompt, or one of your own design.

3.修改性別選項(xiàng)以更好地代表申請(qǐng)人
性別描述部分，用詞從 “sex” 改成 “l(fā)egal sex”。

4.更改公民身份問(wèn)題以減少訪(fǎng)問(wèn)障礙
比如：公民身份的選項(xiàng)中，“Other (non-US)” 替換成 International students 和 Undocumented/DACA students 兩個(gè)選項(xiàng)。

刪除父母和兄弟姐妹相關(guān)問(wèn)題，父母的職業(yè)、學(xué)歷、就業(yè)情況相關(guān)問(wèn)題設(shè)置為Optional。

5.新增了個(gè)人陳述提示

Common App填寫(xiě)指南
1.以學(xué)生身份注冊(cè)

2.填寫(xiě)信息
注冊(cè)賬戶(hù)填寫(xiě)基本的信息，如姓名、出生日期、地址、電話(huà)、郵箱等等。
郵箱就是用戶(hù)名，Common App也會(huì)不定期的給你發(fā)一些提醒和更新。

注冊(cè)郵箱、密碼，需要注意的是：

1. 不使用奇怪的郵箱名稱(chēng)/地址，美高學(xué)生建議Gmail，國(guó)內(nèi)學(xué)生建議163郵箱


2. CA對(duì)密碼有比較嚴(yán)格的要求，密碼不符合要求無(wú)法進(jìn)行到下一步，詳細(xì)要求如下：


10-32位長(zhǎng)度
至少一個(gè)大寫(xiě)字母
至少一個(gè)小寫(xiě)字母
至少一個(gè)數(shù)字
至少一個(gè)特殊符號(hào)! @ # $ % ^ & *
無(wú)空格鍵

3.添加大學(xué)名單
通過(guò)名字搜索大學(xué)，點(diǎn)擊左邊【+】號(hào)就能添加大學(xué)。
